My First Post

Hi, I am MeenachiSundaram working as a software Engineer in State of Arkansas, USA. I always have a passion for music and I developed this interest from my father who is well versed in music. My father has been a great inspiration for me to become an ardent music lover. My long time dream comes true today. May be I should not call this as a dream, it is my goal, my passion, my desire to start an audio blog. But still my long time wish to learn carnatic music, atleast the basics, remains unfulfilled. I think I have passed that age. Thank god that I have a great interest in listening good music atleast.

As a first step in my music journey, I’ve put my voice for the Song "Malare Mounama" from the movie Karna. I sang this song with the great S.Janaki amma. Okay okay.. don't get panic. How can this lay sing with a legend? With the help of Audacity I took janaki amma's voice and mixed it with the karaoke version of the malare song and then recorded my voice. Thanks to Murali for his nice tutorial on Recording using Audacity. Thanks to Anil for the karaoke version of this song.
